Join us for an unforgettable day of fun whitewater and amazing scenery (with views from down below & up above) in the Arkansas River Valley! Our new Float & Fly trip includes lots of rapids (mild or wild, depending on your taste), a gourmet boxed lunch, and an afternoon of ‘zipping’ across the beautiful ‘Lost Canyon’. This family-friendly but exciting Colorado zipline activity will leave you ready for even more Colorado thrills!
Start the day by taking on the world famous rapids of the Arkansas River, and once you’re finished with your rafting adventure, you’ll be provided with a delicious ‘to go’ lunch to enjoy as you transport yourselves to Captain Zipline’s headquarters in Salida, CO. Upon arrival, the friendly and helpful zipline staff will start by getting you ‘geared up’ into your zipping harness, carabineers, and helmet. After a brief but thorough safety orientation (and as much time as you want to practice your newly acquired ‘zipping’ knowledge on the training course), you’re ready to try your first zip! What can you expect from the Colorado Zipline tour? Fun! Experience the rush and listen to the cable sing as you are guided over 2000 feet on 6 separate zipline cables while you take in the surrounding raw, rugged beauty of Lost Canyon…truly amazing!

The Float & Fly Adventure Package can be added to any one of our morning ½ day trips through Brown’s Canyon, Bighorn Sheep Canyon, The Numbers, or The Royal Gorge.

8:15am – Arrive at your designated outpost to check-in for rafting trip. Turn in your read and signed Rafting Waiver, or read and sign Rafting Waiver upon arrival. Use our changing facilities to get ready for your rafting adventure.
9:00am – Depart for your ½ day rafting trip.
11:30am – Arrive back at our outpost.
12:00pm – Dry off, get changed, and check out your rafting photos in our retail shop.
12:30pm – Grab your boxed lunch and depart for Salida
2:00pm – Arrive at Captain Zipline in Salida to check-in for ziplining
2:30pm – Depart Salida for Lost Canyon to zipline.
4:30pm – Return to Captain Zipline in Salida.
