Colorado rafting: Our new logo!

So we know that this newsletter isn’t the most consistent thing that we’ve ever worked on, but we do have good excuses. During the summer, if the whitewater is flowing we’re usually on the river, and in the winter if we’re getting snow we’re probably out on the slopes (we know, it’s a rough life, but someone’s got to do it). However, this off season we’ve been busy on a whole bunch of cool things here at AAE, most notably our new logo!

For those of you that don’t remember our ‘old logo’, it was a neat little mountain and river icon, that was designed in 1986 when the company was founded. And although we love classics, it was definitely a bit dated. So, while going through the process of creating a logo that captured who we are, we listened to all of you. Over and over again we’ve been told that the most memorable part of your Colorado whitewater adventure was your guide. And although they’re the reason that Mike has more gray hair than he should at age 30, they are pretty amazing at what they do! So, here’s what we came up with.
