If you’d like to experience the Royal Gorge in all of it’s grandeur, but rafting the Class IV rapids seems like a bit much, don’t worry. We can get you set up with tickets to the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park or on the Royal Gorge Route Train and you won’t miss a thing…except maybe the splashes!

Driving from Colorado Springs?
Take I-25 South to exit 140. After exiting, continue to the 2nd stoplight, where you will make a right onto Nevada Ave. Nevada Ave. will turn into Highway 115. Continue on Highway 115 through Penrose until you reach Highway 50. Take a right onto Highway 50 West heading to Cañon City. Continue on Highway 50 through Cañon City and our office is approximately 10 miles west of town. We are located on the south side of the road where Highway 50 crosses the Arkansas River. (Approx. 65 miles)
Driving from Denver?
Take I-25 South through Colorado Springs to exit 140. After exiting, continue to the 2nd stoplight, where you will make a right onto Nevada Ave. Nevada Ave. will turn into Highway 115. Continue on Highway 115 through Penrose until you reach Highway 50. Take a right onto Highway 50 West heading to Cañon City. Continue on Highway 50 through Cañon City and our office is approximately 10 miles west of town. We are located on the south side of the road where Highway 50 crosses the Arkansas River. (Approx. 120 miles)

Preparing for your Cañon City rafting Trip
What to Wear & Bring
Canon City white water rafting can be an intense experience. The key to enjoying any of our adventures that depart from our outpost is being properly prepared and dressed. Here’s a list of things that we recommend to wear and bring:
- Quick-Drying Clothes (no cotton, no denim)
- Sun Hat
- Dry Clothes & Towel for after your trip
- Water Shoes (No Flip Flops, Crocs or Bare-feet!)

Although most summer days include plenty of sunshine, you have to remember that this water is coming straight off the Rocky Mountains and can sometimes be a bit chilly. No need to worry as we have all of the gear that you could possibly want or need to make sure that you’re as comfortable as possible.
