Welcome to AAE’s First Ever Blog!  This is Amber Kissack, co-owner of American Adventure Expeditions.

As we jump feet first into a brand new decade, we’ve decided that it’s time for us to throw our hat into the ring of social media.  But we’re just simple outdoorsy people, unassuming and unapologetic, never conforming to ‘the man’…and certainly not ones to follow suit of billions of others across the world and spill our guts over the internet, right?!  Well, although all of this is true, we do have something to say and maybe people will find it interesting?  Or not.

Either way, this is our forum, and it will include info on life at AAE with staff bios & updates, reviews on our favorite outdoor gear, our Colorado rafting trips, the best kept secrets in the Arkansas River Valley, fun summer festivals, whitewater news locally and around the world, and we’ll be featuring some photos, videos, and info on some of our favorite river guests and river trips throughout the summer.  And hopefully we’ll all contribute!  Mike, Paul, and I from the Management Staff, plus AAE guides, AAE guide trainees, Guest Services Reps, and the most important people of all (without which, NONE of us would be employed!), the guests themselves!  Stay tuned!
